In a Healio video exclusive, Chris Evans, president of the Colon Cancer Coalition and Healio’s 2021 Patient Voice Disruptive Innovator, shares updates on the organization’s recent accomplishments and future plans.

“We’re working very hard on a few grants for health disparity and messaging for different communities. I think that’s going to be the key to increasing screening in 2023 and beyond. … We’re also working on some very innovative programming with people who want to be physicians,” Evans said. “Our screening programs are back up and running, and we anticipate that we will invest $1 million plus in 2022 into our communities to keep those screening programs continuous.”
